About Us

Bonneville Offroad Racing Organization

BOR is made up of dozens of volunteers

Our organization welcomes all levels of competitors, from grassroots entry level racers, to seasoned Baja 1000 trophy truck teams. We race all popular buggy, UTV and truck classes. Our races range from 140-300 miles in length, in Utah Western Colorado and northern Nevada.

New Ownership Press Release

As of September 2023 ownership of Bonneville Off Road shifted to Duncan Rowley.  New ownership and leadership will mean the organization will continue and grow based on the people that participate.  Check our schedule page for a complete schedule for 2024.

The organization continues the traditions established by Jim Baker and carried on by Allen Gerber and Kyle MacArthur – family oriented grass roots styled racing that sets BOR apart from similar organizations.

Bonneville Off Road welcomes all levels of competitors, from grassroots entry level racers, to the most seasoned Baja 1000 teams. We race all popular buggies, UTVs and truck classes. Our races range from 140-300 miles in length, in Utah,  north east Nevada and Western Colorado.  “As a small organization we rely on sportsmanship and courtesy. We’re all out there to win. We win a race; we want to go fast and do all those things. But it is also we know one another. That is what drives people to BOR” according to one seasoned BOR racer.
